Santa Photos

He’s on his way….Santa arrives on Saturday 5th December!

This year’s Santa experience will be a little different. While you won’t be able to sit on Santa’s knee this year, he’ll still be on his throne, with families positioned on separate seating, so everyone maintains physical distancing of 1metre.

For the wellbeing of everyone, a few extra safety measures will be in place, including hand sanitiser, additional elves to manage cleaning, and social distancing floor indicators.

All Santa sessions at Merivale are pet friendly, there is NO need to book. We do ask however that you enter and leave from the carpark entrance with your pet. Please leave the centre after the photo has been taken as pets are not permitted to wander throughout the centre.

  • Please maintain your distance from other families and follow the floor decal social distancing indicators when waiting to see Santa. Please be advised that, should queues become too long, you may be asked to return at a later stage.
  • Please use hand sanitiser on entry to the Santa Set.
  • The maximum number of people allowed inside the Santa Set at any given time is 10. The maximum number includes Santa and the photographer.

  • You are welcome to bring along your own props, hats, headbands etc and get dressed up for a fun Santa Photo.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19

Merivale Mall is closely monitoring COVID-19 and the advice of state and national health authorities in relation to infectious diseases. The health and safety of everyone visiting and working at the centre is our primary focus, as we continue to create a safe and welcoming experience. We have remained diligent in our cleaning processes and through our service providers, we have placed additional focus on key areas such as hard surfaces, food courts and bathrooms and all AMP Capital managed assets have facilities in place to support our customers and tenants to practice good hygiene, such as hand sanitisers.

Our centre provides essential services to local communities such as food and groceries, pharmacies, medical clinics and many other goods and services.

Merivale Mall is taking the necessary precautions and following relevant health advice to support their people and customers in response to COVID-19 whilst balancing business continuity for the local community and broader economy. We are currently reviewing all centre activations, but at this stage do not have any large scaled events planned in the near future. Like other organisations across the community, we are continuing to monitor this global issue and will work with and assist health authorities if and when required.

The key to preventing the spread of coronavirus is practising good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene.

You should:

  • wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet
  • cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser
  • and if unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 metres from people)

We will continue to monitor this issue and if there is any change in advice, we will notify our valued tenants and customers as appropriate and encourage our tenants and customers to monitor Public Health Department advice to ensure you receive the latest information, alerts and answers to frequently asked questions.
